Neck Lanyard Styles
Neck lanyards can be
found made from lengths of rope, wire, cloth, or beadwork and are used
to secure various small items.
Lanyards are often worn by business
employees, students, or trade show attendees, many times these lanyards
are custom printed with logos, slogans, or symbols and serve as an
inexpensive advertising for businesses or universities, or
organizations.
By wearing a neck lanyard you can easily carry a small object, which you
must displayed or kept close-by, such as an identification card or name
badge, or passkey. You can also secure other objects such as whistles,
pocket watches, cell phones, cameras, water bottles, bottle openers,
pens, or mini-flashlights.
Items that you frequently need throughout the day can be attached to a
neck lanyard so that they will be readily available and not carried in a
pocket or in your hands. There are several types of attachment hardware
used to secure items to neck lanyards, such as metal or plastic swivel
hooks, pull-apart key rings, and alligator clips. Several neck lanyards
also feature split rings, which are a fantastic way to carry an
individual key or set of keys.
Neck lanyards are comparatively inexpensive to purchase, especially if
you purchase them in bulk and they make great promotional items to
give-away at seminars, conventions, or trade shows. Many suppliers offer
custom printing of neck lanyards, which are available in several styles
and colors as well as lengths. The typical neck lanyard is generally 36
inches. Because this may be too long for some, a plastic cord lock can
be placed on the lanyard to adjust its length.
At your next tradeshow, or convention, why not consider giving-away some
neck lanyards that display your company’s name, slogan, and or logo.
Neck lanyards serve as an informal method of introduction as well as a
souvenir to remember the occasion, or company, business, or
organization.
